Talent Acquisition Contractor
The Talent Acquisition Contractor leads the recruitment of top talent across Silverchair, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance. This part-time contract role (approximately 20 hours per week) partners closely with the Vice President, Global Human Resources + PeopleOps and hiring managers across the organization to attract and engage the best and brightest talent. This work is critical to Silverchair's success, demanding adaptability to shifting priorities such as recruiting volume and urgent hiring needs. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, leverage external resources as needed, and apply expertise to consistently exceed expectations throughout the full talent acquisition lifecycle.
This position reports to the Vice President, Global Human Resources + PeopleOps.
Essential Functions:
- Lead full life-cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, screening, scheduling interviews, and managing offer letters.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role responsibilities, success criteria, and strategic hiring needs.
- Design replicable structured interview processes aligned with job-related competencies to ensure consistently strong candidate outcomes. Use innovative sourcing strategies, including AI-driven tools and traditional resources, to identify and attract top talent.
- Manage internal processes such as background checks, reference checks, and interview feedback collection.
- Track, analyze, and report metrics for all recruiting activities to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions in Confluence, ADP, and ClearCompany.
- Develop and enhance Silverchair's people brand (internally and externally) by promoting its culture, values, and commitment to employee growth through recruiting efforts and communication strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and PeopleOps team regarding recruiting pipeline status, candidate progress, and scheduling needs.
- Quickly adapt to and navigate existing Silverchair systems, processes, and tools with minimal onboarding support.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work as part-time contractor (average of 20 hours per week) to own the end-to-end talent acquisition process for Silverchair, with a primary recruiting focus in the United States and Latin America.
- 7+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in agency or corporate settings, with proven experience recruiting for technical talent including software developers and software quality assurance engineers.
- Proven experience working in ClearCompany, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ADP.
- Ability to manage relationships with candidates, employees, and managers, demonstrating strong consultative and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, especially given a part-time schedule.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance recruitment workflows.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret recruitment metrics.
- Flexible and creative problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision in a remote/contract capacity.
- Strong responsiveness and availability during core business hours despite part-time schedule.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and personally identifiable information (PII) with discretion and in compliance with data privacy regulations.
Desired Experience:
- Experience recruiting for senior management roles.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience as an independent contractor or with contract-based recruiting engagements.
Compensation: $54.00 USD per hour up to 20 hours per week (which may flex based on business need and with PeopleOps leadership pre-approval).
