We are actively hiring a Remote Research Budgets and Contracts Coordinator to join our high-performing, dedicated Budgets & Contracts team
The Research Budgets & Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating clinical research contract processes, which includes financial record keeping of all contracts received and budgets in development.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM - must be available in the evening when needed
Compensation: $60k-$75k base salary + 10% annual bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with clinical, regulatory, marketing, and business development teams to ensure timely contract execution and start-up of new clinical studies.
- Review and track protocol amendments that may affect budget line items to ensure all points of costs are accurately represented
- Develop and/or review budgets in accordance with contract guidelines.
- Effectively track and maintain project and contract timelines.
- Evaluate the financial viability of clinical trials
- Perform all duties in an ethical, safe, and prudent manner
- Assist with training new hires as needed
- Assist with key initiatives and process improvements within the department
- Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in research
- Previously held a Budgets and/or Contracts position in research, or strongly familiar with those processes and responsibilities
- Working knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, impeccably organized, be able to work both independently and with a team, and ability to stay on-task.
- An ethical compass that compels the candidate to be honest and self-driven.
- Exceptional professionalism and possess strong work ethic.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and align with operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Office365 products.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
- Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to think independently and influence when appropriate.
