Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's visibility and reputation through effective communication strategies. This position requires a blend of creativity, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage various communication channels, including social media, press releases, and public relations efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Manage social media platforms to engage with audiences and promote brand initiatives.
  • Conduct research to support communication campaigns and gather insights on industry trends.
  • Foster relationships with media representatives to enhance media relations efforts.
  • Assist in public speaking engagements and prepare presentations as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Experience

  • Strong understanding of AP style guidelines for writing and editing.
  • Demonstrated ability in public speaking and presenting information clearly.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in all written communications.
  • Experience in media relations and building professional networks is a plus.
  • Strong research skills to support content development and strategy execution.
