We are a growing Taxidermy company seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office and Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive office environment while utilizing their financial and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to management and other team members.
- Maintain office organization, including filing, scheduling, and office supply management.
- Perform general bookkeeping duties such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciling financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing, workers comp, quarterly reports.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting tasks as needed.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle day-to-day office communication.
- Create shipping tags, website work, and IT assistance if required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks and MS Office, Google docs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
