Overview

Creation Counseling is a faith-based private practice located in Port Orange, Florida. We are looking to hire a part-time licensed therapist to join our team This is a great opportunity for therapists looking to supplement their caseload and income.

Our office is in search of a licensed therapist who is open to working 2-3 days per week, one of the days being Friday or Saturday. We are happy to discuss the schedule in more detail during your interview.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a therapist or counselor in Florida.
  • Experience providing psychotherapy.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions.
  • Familiarity with SimplePractice (we are happy to train you on this).
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

What you'll do

  • Provide individual and family/couples/group/child counseling sessions as needed using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
  • Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of children, families, and adults.
  • Facilitate family counseling sessions to enhance communication and resolve conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in clinical research and data collection to contribute to the advancement of therapeutic practices.
