Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and be proficient in various engineering software and tools. This role involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and implement effective solutions.
  • Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize GD&T principles to ensure precision in design specifications.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
  • Apply knowledge of ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance in all engineering projects.
  • Conduct simulations using tools like Simulink, MATLAB, and FEA to validate designs.
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Arduino for system integration projects.
  • Participate in system design discussions, contributing mechanical knowledge to interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) for mechanical design.
  • Experience with root cause analysis methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, ASME codes & standards, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining practices and capabilities.
  • Experience with LabVIEW for data acquisition and control systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
