Raven Mechanical was founded over 40 years ago. We are a full-service mechanical contractor with a primary focus in the Houston market of service and repair, new installation and special projects. Our staff performs 90% percent of our work while subcontracting the sheet metal, insulation and the controls portion of its contracts. Responsibilities:
- Performs in highest quality and most efficient manner the operation of equipment for the tasks for assigned job or area
- Reports on-time, ready for work each day with required tools and safety equipment.
- Consistently available when scheduled and can be depended upon.
- Begins work as assigned and works productively throughout the day.
- Determines work requirements from either instructions from the Foreman or from provided construction documents.
- Performs work effectively and correctly according to instructions, documents and appropriate standard procedures required for the specific job.
- Consistently accomplishes assigned work on time and at the quality standard expected by the Company.
- Demonstrates competence in all aspects of equipment operation. Make sure all completed products meet the quality standards.
- Communicates with the Foreman regarding job progress and issues needing attention, as required.
- Monitors condition and safety of Tools and Equipment and assures proper maintenance has been requested or provided.
- Complies with OSHA and Company Safety plans and requirements at all times.
- Treats all customer representatives with respect at all times and always behaves in a professional manner that reflects positively on the Company.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Trains individuals as assigned.
- Conforms to the policies outlined in the employee and safety handbook.
- Performs any other appropriate task or duty that may be requested or assigned by Foreman or other superior.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- 2 Year experience in construction installation
- Ability to handle high levels of noise, cold and hot weather conditions and moving machinery
- Ability to handle heavy objects (100 pounds or more) and be in uncomfortable positions; stooping, kneeling, stretching, crouching and lifting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be attentive to details and willing to learn
- Ability to meet all assigned deadlines
- Flexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to multitask
- Must be dependable and be a team player
