Our client, a rapidly expanding PE-backed Ophthalmology and Optometry platform, is seeking an experienced
Director of Operations
to oversee and optimize regional operations across multiple clinic and ASC locations. This is a high-impact leadership role offering autonomy, strategic influence, and the opportunity to help shape one of the fastest-growing eye care groups in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple ophthalmology and optometry practices, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with executive leadership and physician partners to drive growth, patient satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Lead regional managers and operational teams to meet KPIs around revenue, patient flow, and cost control.
  • Implement scalable systems and processes to support continued expansion and integration of new practices.
  • Drive collaboration between clinical, finance, and business development functions to align operational goals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of multi-site healthcare operations experience (ophthalmology, optometry, ASC, or specialty care preferred).
  • Proven success in a leadership role within a PE-backed or fast-growth environment.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen; experience managing budgets and driving EBITDA improvement.
  • Excellent people leadership, communication, and change management skills.
