WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Specialist, Systems & Data maintains the technical platforms of Relation's insurance operations, ensuring seamless data flow across multiple Vertafore and integrated systems.  The individual in this role maintains carrier downloads, data integrity, resolves system issues, and supports internal users through technical troubleshooting and process optimization.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

  • Manages the complete carrier download lifecycle, including setup, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and troubleshooting, addressing exceptions, data mismatches, and mapping issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness across all carrier systems.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots integrations between all Vertafore and integrated products including AMS360, ImageRight, BenefitPoint, IVANS Exchange, and RecordLinker.
  • Monitors data accuracy across systems and proactively correct or escalate issues.
  • Conducts quarterly product audits to monitor system usage, verify license counts, and ensure optimal allocation of resources across all insurance platforms and user access.
  • Responds to support tickets from internal users, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Researches and resolves system or data-related issues independently, documenting findings and resolutions.
  • Collaborates with IT and operations to maintain consistent workflows and system functionality.
  • Participates in data clean-up, deduplication, and normalization projects to enhance data quality.
  • Identifies recurring problems and implement or recommend process and system improvements.
  • Develops and maintains clear documentation for procedures, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Partners cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decisions and efficient processes.  
  • Researches and resolves issues on the BenefitPoint error log.
  • Remains knowledgeable of system advances and integrations and stays up to date on data management best practices.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' insurance industry experience, with a focus on download management and Vertafore systems administration
  • Prior experience in insurance operations, data management, or system administration preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams. Must have the ability to communicate appropriately and build professional relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions.
