As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. What you'll do
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define project requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and availability across systems.
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain database design principles while working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Talend for data management tasks.
- Document workflows using Visio to enhance clarity in project management and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
Experience
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles to drive team collaboration effectively.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend for efficient data handling.
- Experience with programming languages such as R or Python for advanced analytics.
- Understanding of database design concepts with hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle environments.
- Competence in VBA or Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
