We're seeking a motivated and customer-centric Client Retention Specialist to join our distributed team. This role blends customer success, onboarding, and retention — acting as a Growth Advisor for small business owners to help them launch and adopt the full GetDandy platform.
The Role: Client Retention Specialist (Growth Advisor)
As a Client Retention Specialist, you're not just managing renewals — you're consulting entrepreneurs on how to grow. You'll guide clients through the activation of their Digital Front Office (Google Business Profile, review automation, web chat, listings, and social tools) and ensure they're seeing tangible business results.
You'll also handle clients approaching renewal, those needing assistance with payment or engagement issues, and those seeking to maximize the ROI from their partnership with GetDandy.
You will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned clients, helping them launch and adopt our platform for full value delivery.
- Lead structured launch and relaunch calls using the GetDandy Launch Call Workflow to ensure success on day one GetDandy Entrepreneur Launch… GetDandy Launch Call Checklis….
- Partner closely with Sales, Support, and Product teams to address client goals, remove roadblocks, and demonstrate results.
- Identify at-risk accounts early and implement strategies to retain and grow relationships.
- Drive renewal conversations and reduce churn by tying product adoption directly to customer ROI.
What You'll Be Doing
Launch & Retention Excellence
- Own the full customer relationship for clients in onboarding, recovery, or renewal stages.
- Follow GetDandy's Launch Call Workflow to activate every part of the platform:
- Secure Google Business Profile access.
- Deploy Web Chat and automate CRM/POS survey integrations.
- Ensure listings, disputes, and social posts are live.
- Confirm adoption milestones for a same-day launch success GetDandy Entrepreneur Launch…
- Help customers understand how AI-powered automation supports review generation, reputation growth, and customer engagement.
Retention Strategy
- Re-engage clients who have failed billing or paused service to realign on goals and outcomes.
- Address billing or renewal challenges with empathy and confidence — turning frustration into partnership.
- Track and report on retention KPIs (revenue retention, churn rate, and customer satisfaction).
- Proactively identify upsell opportunities or product gaps that could enhance client results.
Advisory Partnership
- Act as the growth coach for your accounts — framing GetDandy as an extension of their team.
- Use data insights and automation reporting to demonstrate success and ROI.
- Guide clients to use GetDandy tools that drive new business: listings optimization, web chat, surveys, and reviews.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Customer Retention, Success, or Account Management (SaaS experience preferred).
- Proven ability to consult with business owners and demonstrate product ROI.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to manage complex client conversations.
- Experience working in HubSpot or a similar CRM.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- A positive, proactive, and empathetic communicator who enjoys helping others win.
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE: Up to $85,000/year (Base + Bonus)
- Base Salary + Performance Bonuses tied to retention, satisfaction, and customer success metrics

Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable, particularly in English.
- Proven experience in sales or call center environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with outbound calling techniques and strategies.
