AUTOMOTIVE FINANCE MANAGER

PERFORMANCE FORD in EAST HANOVER seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join our winning team at our BRAND NEW Performance Ford Whippany location.

6 FIGURE INCOME +++ $125,000 to $175,000

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assesses and analyzes the customer's needs with respect to ownership, coverage and history of traded vehicle
  • Presents finance and insurance product menu to every customer while illustrating the product benefits and features
  • Handles all required paperwork for final purchase or leasing contracts
  • Confirms all sales figures to date, as well as credit information and funds paid upfront
  • Submits credit application to and obtains approval from lending institution
  • Able to achieve production and volume goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity
  • Maintains expert knowledge of all products offered, updates, features, and accessories
  • Ensures finance process is delivered in such a format to attain customer satisfaction scores at, or above, the regional average
  • Maintains full disclosure in compliance with all federal and state guidelines
  • Complies with Our Dealer Group's ethical standards and company processes.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive, "roll-up your sleeves" attitude

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the automotive retail industry
  • Displays excellent customer relationship skills and maintains strong emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes assignments, and multi-tasks under pressure
  • Demonstrates a high work ethic and exhibits professional and acceptable behaviors at all times
  • Is self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and success driven
  • Maintains professional appearance and confident, positive and high energy presence
  • Is team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
  • Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations
  • Able to pass background and drug screenings
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has a clean driving record

Experience:

  • 3 years of Automotive Dealership Finance Manager
