To be successful as a Senior Engineering Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Sustaining and advancing the delivery of model execution capabilities across regulatory programs such as CCAR, RRP, and BOE
  • Integrating and deploying complex model packages, supporting audit and regulatory submissions, and modernizing the execution framework using Core Java, Kubernetes, and Databricks, in alignment with the enterprise's strategy
  • Demonstrating considerable analytical skills to navigate intricate model dependencies and data pipelines, along with forward-looking AI/ML capabilities to support evolving regulatory and business needs
  • Engaging closely with business stakeholders in New York, particularly across Finance, Treasury, and Risk domains
  • Collaborating with global teams across the US, UK, and India

Other Highly Valued Skills Include

  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and model integration
  • Experience with Docker for containerization and scalable deployment
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot for building robust, production-grade backend services
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable infrastructure and data solutions
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Minimum Salary: $170,000

Maximum Salary: $230,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
