The
Data Analytics Intern
will work within DMS' data and analytics platform to support business intelligence (BI) reporting and data-driven decision-making. The intern will help transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting key functions across operations, finance, and technology.

This role provides hands-on experience with modern analytics tools and real-world exposure to data modeling, visualization, and performance tracking within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain BI reports and dashboards to support business initiatives.
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems.
  • Translate business requirements into clear data visualizations and key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data trends to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
  • Support ad hoc reporting needs for various departments.
  • Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and data storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
