About You:

You are motivated to tackle complex data challenges and elevate data quality across the enterprise. You exhibit outstanding execution and meticulous attention to detail in data management processes. With a proven track record in crafting and implementing scalable data architecture solutions, you bring deep expertise in SQL and ETL tools to drive data excellence. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about building systems that unlock the full potential of data.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement robust data architecture frameworks to support enterprise analytics and operational needs.
  • Develop and enforce data quality protocols, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability across systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to align data architecture with strategic goals.
  • Lead integration efforts using APIs and modern data pipelines to connect disparate systems.
  • Optimize data workflows using ETL/ELT tools and cloud-native platforms like Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and analysts.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data architecture development or implementation projects.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Databricks, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration methods for connecting systems.
  • Capability to work on-site in Detroit, MI.
