As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our remote administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative but independent remote work setting.
Position Overview:
The Order Entry Clerk will play a key role in ensuring smooth business operations by accurately entering and processing customer orders, maintaining organized records, and supporting internal teams in day-to-day administrative functions. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working closely with project managers, the accounting team, and clients, the Order Entry Clerk will ensure every order is handled efficiently from submission to completion, helping maintain Onsite Environmental Consulting's reputation for reliability and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update customer orders into the company's database or ERP system.
- Review order forms, contracts, and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with clients to confirm order details, project requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams, including project management and accounting, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Track order progress and proactively follow up to address discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain digital and physical order records for audits and reference.
- Prepare and send invoices, confirmations, and related documentation to clients.
- Identify process improvements that enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Assist with other administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and email correspondence as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or administrative support roles.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Positive, professional attitude and ability to multitask effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3, $4,381.00 per month
