Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Independent Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with clients in various markets. As an Independent Agent, you will have the flexibility to work independently while leveraging your sales skills to promote our products and services. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in an outside sales environment and possess strong communication abilities.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients through effective communication and customer service.
  • Conduct outside sales activities to promote products and services, including insurance sales.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Perform sales administration tasks, including tracking leads and managing client accounts.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Provide benefits administration support to clients, ensuring they understand their options.
  • Engage in telemarketing efforts as needed to reach new customers.
  • Utilize bilingual or multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for client interactions.
  • Proficiency in sales administration processes and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market data and customer feedback.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider audience.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is beneficial for handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in marketing strategies that drive customer engagement is advantageous.
