Revenue Cycle OOS Insurance Coordinator

Position OverviewResponsible for all aspects of vetting Out-of-State Patients' insurance / under insured patients and those with Emergency coverage only. Also provides oversight to Financial Assistance team in a Team Lead capacity. Services will be delivered in accordance with the employees' segments and standards for the position. Employee abides by service delivery standards in interactions with, visitors, employees, vendors and patients, complies with all Federal and State regulations and organization policies and procedures and performs duties in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.

$ $30.90 per hour, depending on experience

Education and Experience Minimum Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in revenue cycle

Preferred:

• Associates degree in health care or related field.
• Knowledge of Self-Pay options and workflows for uninsured / underinsured patients
