TITLE: WEEKEND CODE BLUE UP CENTER SUPERVISOR

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a Qualified Health Professional. MSW or other master's degree in the helping professions. A Bachelors or Associates Degree may be acceptable with additional experience and previous experience providing oversight and supervision.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

NYS LMSW, LCSW if applicable. CASAC is desirable but not required if individual possesses a LMSW or LCSW. Must have valid NYS Driver's license and be cleared by ACBC's insurance carrier to drive.

Works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, 12 hours shifts for the Code Blue Season from October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025.

EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated experience in overseeing staff and providing supervision.

SKILLS:

  • Respectful, caring engagement of UP Comfort Center guests
  • Assists with keeping a calm and safe environment
  • Complete required training in crisis de-escalation, fire extinguisher, opioid overdose reversal, CPR and First Aid
  • Knowledgeable of the system of care and gaps in the system of care
  • Assists guests with referrals to services

DUTIES:

  • Oversee schedule to maintain required weekend staffing levels and safety
  • Complete screenings for new guests and night by night data entry
  • Provide assistance for on-call coverage and access to emergency housing
  • Support professional development of supervisees and arrange training
  • Completes performance appraisals of supervisees (6-month and annual reviews)
  • Coordinates meals and outside breaks following policies and procedures
  • Coordinating with Broome County DSS
  • Conduct street outreach
  • Completing timely and accurate required documentation for HMIS reporting
  • Audit the documentation of supervisees
  • Offers harm reduction services
  • Participates in community and agency meetings as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
