JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Dietary Manager is a key part of our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of the Dietary Department.
  • Recruitment, Hiring, and Supervision of Dietary Department staff as needed.
  • Ensure that all food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
  • Work with all departments within the facility to ensure positive resident outcomes.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures of the Dietary Department are followed by staff.
  • Perform administrative tasks and prepare reports, as requested.
  • Ensure excellent communication among staff, residents, and families.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in food service
  • Safe serve and CDM, preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Long-term care facility experience preferred
  • CDM License Preferred
