If you fit this description, you are needed to help MPHD deliver a great first impression on behalf of our Women Infants and Children (WIC) program MPHD is seeking an Office Support Rep 3 to provide excellent customer service to our clients in our Woodbine WIC Clinic. Nashville WIC participants receive vital child health and development education, breastfeeding support, and healthy food from our compassionate and culturally-competent staff. The work involves all phases and functions of a Customer Service Center supporting our Woodbine WIC Clinic.

Typical Duties
  • Serves as first responder to answering phone lines, directing calls as needed.
  • Maintains a positive environment for all participants by greeting, communicating effectively with, and actively assisting patients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Processes patients in and out of the clinic by performing initial participant screenings and benefits issuance in order to achieve program goals.
  • Performs all clerical duties as needed to maintain efficiency of daily operations of the Woodbine WIC clinic.
  • Maintains patient electronic records charts in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Updates and maintains the clinic calendar to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the clinic.
  • Accurately enters data and links family members in WIC programs throughout TN.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma and three (3) years of clerical/administrative experience.

Valid driver's license, use of personal vehicle, and maintenance of valid personal vehicle insurance as required by Tennessee Law.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
