Mercedes Scientific, a 30-year family-owned national laboratory distribution company headquartered in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, operates three distribution centers (Florida, New Jersey, and Utah) and serves over 5,000 customers nationwide.

We're looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional to grow our presence across the Southwest USA. If you're a passionate and experienced laboratory distribution sales representative, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

· Develop and manage business within the Southwest USA territory.

· Focus on hospitals, clinical labs, reference labs, research facilities, and physician-owned labs.

· Promote and sell histology, pathology, and other laboratory products – consumables and equipment.

· Identify and qualify new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

· Deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to client needs.

· Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

· Collaborate with marketing, operations, and account management teams for seamless onboarding.

· Attend regional trade shows and events to represent Mercedes Scientific.

· Travel up to 50%.

What You Bring

· 3+ years of successful outside sales experience in laboratory, histology, or medical distribution.

· Strong understanding of histology workflows, products, and instrumentation.

· Preference for candidates with distribution experience over manufacturing.

· Proven ability to exceed sales goals and manage a territory effectively.

· Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

· Independent, self-starter mindset with strong time management skills.

· Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
