Independent Sales Representative – Wilkerson Express

Wilkerson Express, a leading wholesale jewelry company based in Arkansas, is seeking a self-employed Independent Sales Representative to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Visit retail partners and prospective clients to present, sell, and service our jewelry collections.

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with store owners, buyers, and key decision-makers.

  • Manage your own sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and identify new business opportunities within your territory.

  • Conduct regular in-store visits to provide merchandising support, product training, and market insights.

  • Represent Wilkerson Express at major national jewelry trade shows, including the industry's most recognized show groups where Wilkerson is a key contributor and trusted partner.

  • Report sales activity, trends, and client feedback to Wilkerson Express management for strategic planning.

  • Maintain a professional brand presence that reflects Wilkerson's reputation for integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, wholesale, or territory-based account management (jewelry or luxury goods preferred).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of self-motivation and personal accountability.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both in person and virtually.

  • Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities.

  • Computer literacy, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile sales tools.

  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

  • Jewelry knowledge or sales experience preferred — training available for the right candidate.

  • Ability to manage finances, schedules, and client communications independently as a self-employed contractor.

Your Schedule & Territory

This role offers autonomy and flexibility. As an independent contractor, you will set your own schedule while traveling throughout your assigned territory to meet clients in person. Most travel will be regional (driving), with occasional air travel to trade shows and at least one annual visit to our corporate office in Arkansas. Success in this role requires regular in-person engagement and proactive outreach to build lasting relationships.
