Description

Job Purpose: Join Denova Collaborative Health as a Billing Specialist focused on Claims, where your expertise in claim processing directly contributes to our mission of providing integrated health services. This crucial role involves managing the entire lifecycle of medical billing claims, enhancing our financial operations, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our billing processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Claims Processing: Handle the preparation, submission, and follow-up of medical claims across various insurers and payers.
  • Eligibility and Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility to prevent billing discrepancies.
  • Claim Adjustments and Corrections: Address any claim denials or discrepancies by making necessary adjustments or corrections to ensure maximum reimbursement.
  • Reporting: Generate reports detailing billing activities, claim status, and any issues encountered.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers and other billing staff to clarify claim details, gather necessary documentation, and streamline the claims process.
  • Other Assigned Duties

What We Need From You:

  • Educational Background: High School diploma or GED required; further education in medical billing or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in medical billing or claims processing.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of medical billing codes, insurance regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and medical billing software.
  • Must be located in Arizona as in office days are required

Your Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Flexibility: Transition to hybrid/remote work after training
