If you're an experienced Accounts Receivable professional in the medical billing field, The Grant Group invites you to bring your expertise to our dynamic and supportive team. We are a trusted leader in nephrology billing, committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and their patients.

This remote position offers the opportunity to leverage your AR experience to resolve claims, improve processes, and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Claims Management:
  • Investigate and resolve aged claims (30+ days).
  • Manage daily denials, rejections, file appeals, make correct adjustments, and call payers.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
  • Be the first point of contact for billing inquiries, providing clear and effective support.
  • Research and resolve account issues for patients and clients, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Ensure Accuracy and Compliance:
  • Maintain precise patient demographics and insurance details.
  • Identify and correct errors in coding, charge entry, and payment posting.
  • Stay compliant with HIPAA and all state/federal billing regulations.
  • Collaborate for Success:
  • Partner with team leads to enhance processes and achieve departmental goals.
  • Support your team by participating in rotation schedules and special projects.

What We're Looking For

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a medical billing environment (required).
  • Expertise in government and managed care payment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding is required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AR tasks, including denial management and claims resolution.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Confidence working in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
  • A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
