WHO YOU ARE: A college intern eager to gain practical experience in the marketing industry. You are enthusiastic about learning, ready to take on hands-on tasks, and excited about planning events for large companies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys tackling challenges, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences. This position will be remote, candidate must be located in Eastern Time Zone.
What you will be doing
Overview
This position is designed to support the Sales Development team by assisting with lead generation, prospecting, and SDR activities. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, highly motivated, and effective communicators. Ideal candidates will be eager to learn about the sales process, contribute to the team's success, and develop valuable skills for a career in sales. This is an exciting and comprehensive internship opportunity that provides hands-on experience in the sales development field. * This internship offers exposure to key departments within the Sales Development function, including the Sales Development, Sales, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Marketing teams. * Support lead generation efforts by researching potential customers, identifying decision-makers, and initiating outreach through calls and emails to prospective clients. * Learn and apply the processes of effective prospecting, including qualification criteria, outreach methods, and follow-up strategies. * Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to understand and leverage sales data and analytics to improve lead generation efforts and sales performance.. * Participate in various sales team meetings and contribute ideas to improve lead generation and overall sales strategies.
What will make you successful
- Currently enrolled in an educational institution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products
- Attentive to department needs as demonstrated by rapid and high-quality responsiveness to requests
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
- Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Keen attention to detail
- Capable of identifying and completing tasks independently, with a sense of urgency and ownership
- Demonstrated success at maintaining high personal work standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the position.
