This opportunity is ideal for highly organized, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-level environments and are experienced in providing administrative support to senior leadership.The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is financing solutions to the most critical challenges facing the developing world today. Working with businesses, we mobilize private capital to invest in projects that create jobs and opportunities in emerging markets, including building critical infrastructure, expanding access to telecommunications, and providing small business financing for women entrepreneurs.Responsibilities:Organize, prioritize, and manage a high volume of incoming work for DFC Senior Leaders and/or their officesRespond to, coordinate, and schedule meeting requests, official appointments, invitations, and participation in special eventsGreet and escort guests at the DFC New York City office and other authorized DFC office locationsMaintain control and follow-up systems for correspondence and workload to ensure timely responsesDraft, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and other documents for Senior Leaders and their officesManage incoming and outgoing communications, including email, phone calls, and mailAssist with travel coordination and voucher processingMaintain records, databases, and tracking systems for projects, deadlines, and administrative tasksCoordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on administrative projects, data calls, and workplace analysisProcess internal ethics clearances for speakers participating in events or widely attended gatheringsProvide continuous EA coverage, including backup support for planned absences longer than three (3) business days and unplanned absences longer than five (5) business daysSupport surge requirements when additional administrative assistance is neededQualifications:U.S. Citizenship is requiredActive Public Trust clearance required; higher-level clearances (Secret or Top Secret) are acceptable if eligible for transferBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not requiredMinimum of five (5) years of experience providing administrative support in a federal environment or comparable setting (e.g., state/local government, corporate offices, nonprofit organizations)Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneouslyExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar and proofreading abilitiesHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese is preferred but not mandatoryOn-Site: New York City, NY.Schedule: Full-TimeOnly resumes submitted in English will be considered.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for job opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.BA Global Talent connects professionals across the Americas with meaningful opportunities at U.S. companies.
