Director, Outside Sales

Overview Lifeway is seeking a Director, Outside Sales who will be responsible for the successful implementation, and ongoing operational excellence of the sales team. The director will work closely with Marketing, Publishing and other sales team to ensure the Outside team has the resources it needs to be successful. This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote Responsibilities Staffing, leading, coaching and retention of a team of high-capacity sales professionals in assigned territory Works closely with Marketing, Publishing and other sales team to ensure the team has the resources it needs to be successful Provide leadership, coaching, and inspiration to the Outside Sales team Managing sales activities to achieve assigned goals and KPIs Develop, test and execute a business plan with supporting sales strategies Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts Participate in key sales cycles and maintain excellent cross-functional relationships Participate as a key member of the Sales Leadership team 15% travel, required Qualifications Education Required Bachelor's degree MBA, preferred Experience / Skills Required Live out , showing deep commitment to Kingdom work Minimum 3 years experience Sales leadership Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience selling value-based products and/or services Advanced understanding of the Christian content market and its customers Strong operational and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong grasp of key sales and support operations KPIs and strategies, such as AHT, call conversion, transfer rates, capacity, utilization, and force to load Strongly Preferred Skills Prior experience working directly with churches Experience implementing and building a new remote sales team Prior experience working with CRM, strong preference given to Salesforce Options Sorry
