We are looking for General Managerto our office in Atlanta. We require someone with at least 8 years of experiance on electronic components market, excelent sales skills and experiance with team managment, also results oriented, demonstrated innovation and strong relationship building .
Role specification:
· Experience at an electrocomponents company is a must
· Responsibility for the development and expansion of the Company in the US market
· Setting the strategic direction of the company and its daily management
· Definition and implementation of the company's strategy
· Establishing the company's mission , vision and goals
· Working with the management team to develop plans and policies
· Making key decisions for the company, from investments and budgets to personnel policies and operational strategies
· Shaping organizational culture and overseeing the performance and effectiveness of teams
· Identifying potential risks to the company and making decisions that help minimize risks
· Managing finances, regulatory compliance and other aspects of the company's operations
· Contacting investors, business partners and the media
· Managing and subordinate sales team
· Creating sales policies and sales plans for a given period and ways to implement them in consultation with decision makers
· Acquiring new customers and working with existing customers - building and maintaining long-term relationships
· Performing market reserch of the industry and competitors
· Execution of sales plans
· Handling all channels of remote communication with the client
· Supporting the team with the care of key customers, preparation of sales offers
· Providing customers with commercial, logistical and technical information
· Analyzing sales increases and decreases for individual customers with reasons
· Visits to customers , conducting negotiations
· Participation in trade fairs
· Organizing and supervising the work of subordinates (assignment of duties and responsibilities, working hours, vacation plans, business trips and others resulting from the labor code, health and safety and internal company regulations)
· Monitoring of sales results and their reporting
· Cooperating with the logistics department on transport forms and costs
· Informing Managers and Product Managers ( market, assortment) of any problems related to customer service
· Conducting promotion and advertising policy in the region/product group ( fairs, advertisements, Internet, product selection, new forms of advertising
· Participate in the recruitment process of new employees and supervise their training process
Ongoing verification and evaluation of the effectiveness of the work of subordinates
· Caring for the development of subordinate employees ( proposals for training, meetings)
· Ensuring proper flow of information in subordinate units
· Optimization -in terms of cost and time- of conducted activities
· Reporting the need for new resources (human, equipment, etc.)
· Submitting proposals on remuneration, bonuses and punishment of subordinate employees
· Controlling the budget of the department
