Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a client in the San Diego area. This is a contract role where the individual will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of semi-monthly payroll. The ideal candidate will have payroll experience, familiarity with Paylocity, and strong communication skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Paylocity Experience: Prior experience with Paylocity is a plus, ensuring accurate entry of payroll data.
  • HR Email Management: Manage and monitor the HR department's email inbox, addressing inquiries related to payroll and HR processes.
  • Benefits and 401k Questions: Provide support by answering employee questions regarding benefits, 401(k), and other related inquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various HR and payroll-related administrative tasks as needed.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to support payroll processing and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration or a related role.
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll and employee information.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
