Job DescriptionJob Description

Construction Field Representative / Quality Assurance Inspector

A Construction Field Representative (CFR) or Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) in the construction sector is entrusted with the critical mission of ensuring projects meet the highest quality and safety standards. This pivotal role involves a rigorous oversight of construction processes to ensure compliance with standards (project and industry), building codes, and client specifications. The role is critical in preventing defects, managing corrective actions, and maintaining rigorous documentation to provide a reliable record of quality assurance activities throughout the construction process.

The CFR’s and QAI’s daily responsibilities are multifaceted and integral to the project’s success. Your task includes setting up quality assurance protocols, conducting detailed inspections at stages of construction, and working closely with the construction team to address any issues that may compromise the project’s standards. You are also the liaison to ensure construction methods and materials meet required quality standards and are responsible for guiding the project team on quality compliance and safety measures. By monitoring compliance with building codes and regulations, you help mitigate risks and ensure the project aligns with legal and contractual obligations.

Construction Quality Assurance Inspector Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will take the lead in ensuring your project meets the project’s benchmarks for excellence. You will be the guardian of quality and safety standards across our construction projects, developing and implementing robust quality assurance protocols and procedures. You’ll work closely with the project teams to establish and ensure quality targets, conduct regular inspections, and identify areas for improvement to enhance a project’s outcomes. From project inception to completion, you’ll oversee every aspect of quality assurance – conducting thorough reviews of construction plans, inspections, materials, and workmanship to ensure they meet the exacting standards.
