Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Representative / Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role combines direct sales activities with the management of digital marketing campaigns to drive leads, sales, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers across multiple platforms, managing inventory, preparing invoices, and executing digital marketing strategies, including managing ads on platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, OfferUp, and others. A strong focus on customer experience and building long-term relationships is crucial.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with Customers: Follow spreadsheets and cold call contractors/etc. and interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and close sales.

  • Price Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and product packages to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability for the company.

  • Sales Follow-up: Ensure timely follow-ups with leads and existing customers to maintain momentum and close deals.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for sales inquiries, product support, and account management.

Inventory Management:

  • Track Inventory Levels: Monitor and track product inventory to ensure accurate availability and prevent stockouts.

  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Coordinate with the inventory and warehouse teams to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Digital Marketing:

  • Social Media Marketing: Create and manage content across social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

  • Ads & Campaigns: Manage paid digital ad campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, OfferUp, and other local sales channels to drive targeted traffic and increase sales.

  • Content Strategy: Optimize digital content for search engines (SEO) and create engaging blog posts, product descriptions, and other online content.

  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional offers to nurture leads and convert them into customers.

Invoicing:

  • Invoice Creation: Prepare and send customer invoices, ensuring accuracy in product details, pricing, and payment terms.

Customer Experience:

  • Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints, ensuring a positive experience and long-term loyalty.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Sales Tracking: Monitor and report on sales activities, ensuring alignment with targets and identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Campaign Effectiveness: Analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns (paid ads, SEO, email)

  • Performance Metrics: Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, campaign performance, and overall digital marketing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Hiring entry level sales representatives, will be trained in closing deals, negotiating terms, and managing customer relationships.

  • Digital Marketing Experience: Some experience managing digital marketing campaigns, including social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and paid ads (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Nextdoor).

  • Inventory & Invoicing: Familiarity with inventory tracking and basic invoicing systems (e.g., Google Sheets, Sortly, etc.).

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with customers.
