The Inspired Closets Sales & Design Consultant is an expert in custom space design and has a vast knowledge of all of our storage and organization solutions and products sold within our portfolio. This role will oversee Connecticut and part of Rhode Island to promote our business and sell our services to prospective new clients, working closely with them to develop the perfect storage solutions to meet their needs. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSPIRED CLOSETS SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT
As an Inspired Closets Sales & Design Consultant, you are the face of our company. You come to work ready to make connections with prospective customers. As you interact with them, you share your extensive knowledge about our products and services and offer them valuable solutions. Always honest and accurate, you offer quotes and assessments on how our company can make a positive difference in their homes and businesses. Additionally, you seek new contacts, either from leads generated by our company or through your own networking. You are conscious of meeting sales goals and are particular about keeping records.
On a regular basis, you spend time with installation crews in order to ensure the quality customer service we seek to provide. Because of your impeccable integrity and professional demeanor, clients are happy to give you referrals. Helping clients brings you great satisfaction. Plus, it is rewarding to see your hard work pay off in your paycheck
Responsibilities
- Designs and sells complete, functional and aesthetically appealing storage solutions
- Develops and manages accounts through prospecting and networking of leads
- Provides innovative solutions and products to new and current clients
- Educates homeowners on the industry and maintains understanding of contracts and pricing structures
- Maintains strong relationships with existing customers and trade partners
- Hits weekly/monthly activity and sales goals and track records consistently in CRM software
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience preferred, in-home sales experience required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate
- Knowledge and passion for following trends in custom storage solutions industry
- Experience in design is a plus, passion for design is a must
- Possess excellent prospecting, presentation and networking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adept at using technology to communicate and sell
- Ability to use natural closing skills to transform leads into sales
- Valid drivers license, reliable transportation and a good driving record
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check in compliance with regulations
- Experience with in-home sales required
- Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required.
