IT consulting company seeks a Highly Skilled/Proficient IT Systems Administrator to join our customer support team

This is not your typical Systems Administrator role meaning you will be out and about visitng customers the majority of your time. This position requires that you have the ability and knowledge to manage customers, their environments and become their trusted advisor. This role is more of a VCIO/Sys Admin. You will work with a variety of technologies and end users while providing the highest level of client site IT support possible to our large client base in and around the Denver Metro area. Adaptability is key given the many different office cultures and technologies you will encounter. The ability to effectively communicate is required as well as a passion for all things technology and Customer Service.

  • This is NOT a remote role
  • Minimum of 5 years relative IT industry experience
  • Industry Certification or degree a must to be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

-Manage and support a set number of on site clients with a regular on site schedule.

- Provide desktop support over the phone and in-person and troubleshoot a variety of network & end user systems.

- Develop and document technical procedures and end user guides.

- Seek ways to apply technology to business processes.

- Research and provide information on technical trends.

- Work alongside our team of technology professionals to deliver best in class IT support to over 1600 end points.

- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

- The desire and aptitude to learn and grow as an IT professional, to always challenge yourself and to help others

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

- Excellent verbal/written communication

- Ability to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose an issue and follow it to resolution

- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical skills

- Be detail oriented, a fast learner, and possess the ability to think on the fly

- Handle confidential information/material with utmost respect for the client

- Effectively work both alone and in a team setting

- Extensive knowledge of Windows desktop, server, and networking systems and protocols

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of firewall concepts and cloud based technologies.

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of virtual system management using VMWare or Hyper-V

Minimum Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years relative IT industry experience

- Technical certification ot IT degree a requirement

- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

- Must have own form of reliable transportation.

- Must have proof of active automobile liability insurance that meets Colorado State Law requirements.
