Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description: We are currently seeking a real estate paralegal who will play a crucial role in our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing HUD/Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, title commitments, deeds, clearing title issues, ordering payoffs, verifying taxes, and preparing final title policies. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized individual who will support several attorneys in all aspects of residential real estate closings. The ability to quickly learn new software, including experience with E-Closings/ClosingVue, is advantageous. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong aptitude for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare HUD/Settlement Statements and Closing Disclosures
  • Communicate with lenders, real estate agents and clients through every aspect of the real estate transaction
  • Draft title commitments, deeds, and other necessary legal documents
  • Clear title issues, order payoffs and verify taxes
  • Prepare final title policies
  • Support attorneys in all aspects of residential real estate closings
Requirements:

  • 3+ years of real estate paralegal experience in a conveyancing law firm
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with E-Closings/ClosingVue
  • Ability to handle residential loan closings from start to finish
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and ability to learn new software quickly
