Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Property Acquisitions Officer to join our team. As a key member of our acquisitions team, you will be responsible for underwriting the acquisition of retail, hospitality, industrial, office, life science, medical office, and senior living properties for The RMR Group and its managed companies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Source acquisition opportunities through marketed and off-market channels
  • Develop presentation materials and in-depth Excel models to analyze cash flows and evaluate new potential investments
  • Collaborate with RMR Asset Services for market knowledge and property underwriting assumptions and to develop strategic business plans for acquisitions under consideration
  • Assist with coordination of the due diligence and closing processes
  • Prepare and present investment memos with recommendations and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate experience with underwriting, asset management, mortgage lending, or mergers and acquisitions
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ARGUS Enterprise
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
  • Thorough understanding of debt and equity capital markets
