Job DescriptionJob Description

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a ServiceNow Configuration Manager. Leverage ServiceNow (SNOW) expertise to support solution design discussions and propose enhancements for key modules, including Requested Items (RITM), Incident Ticketing, and Demand Management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide ServiceNow expertise: Support discussions and recommend solutions for enhancing the Requested Items, Incident Ticket, and Demand modules.
  • Support SNOW updates: Review existing RITM configurations, recommending updates to align with evolving business processes.
  • Integration analysis: Conduct feasibility assessments for integration with tools like Jazz, JIRA, and proposed enhancements with Remedy.
  • Documentation development: Prepare and maintain ServiceNow documentation, particularly for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) efforts.
  • Execute critical tasks: Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Leads to execute key activities that support ServiceNow enhancements.
  • Design and testing: Implement approved requirements by designing, modifying, and testing ServiceNow functions to improve overall user efficiency and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong background in managing IT projects.
  • Deep understanding of life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Proven experience in tracking project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Expertise in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical field (or an additional 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Veterans Affairs (VA) projects.
  • Experience implementing electronic health record systems.
