Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Product Strategy Coordinator in New York, NY

Location: Hybrid New York, NY 10018

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay rate: $28-$32.14/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Line Management: maintaining and updating product catalogs, creating technical line sheets for licensing, ensuring the integrity of PLM data, collecting and organizing training tools, and providing support for all product development milestones.
  • Reporting: extracting information from data systems, including the preparation of monthly reports, and creating detailed reports for upper management that require a high level of accuracy. Additionally, responsibilities include conducting product reviews, performing competitive market analyses, and carrying out ad-hoc analyses as needed.
  • Material Management: assisting with the development of new materials, organizing samples, and maintaining the integrity of material libraries. Additionally, the role involves preparing for meetings by placing sketches on boards, preparing color forms and prototype kick-off forms, and printing necessary materials.

Requirements:

  • B.S/B.A. degree in Merchandising management and/or Product Development
  • 3+ years' experience work experience
  • Previous experience with reporting, recruiting, and data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Applications (specifically Excel and PPT)
  • Adaptability and flexibility to both work individually as well as within a team
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication (including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms), as well as project and time management skills are essential.

  • Preferred experience in either of these categories: fashion industry/product management/product development/accessories/merchandising/business development
