 Lighting Rebate Sales Specialist - Con Edison

Our company specializes in energy efficiency solutions, helping businesses reduce energy consumption and costs. We partner with Con Edison to offer rebates on energy-efficient lighting upgrades.

 

 

*Job Summary:*

 

 

We seek a motivated and results-driven Lighting Rebate Sales Specialist to promote Con Edison's lighting rebate programs to commercial and industrial customers. Your goal will be to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.

 

 

*Responsibilities:*

 

 

- Identify potential customers eligible for Con Edison's lighting rebate programs

- Conduct site assessments to determine energy-saving opportunities

- Develop and present customized proposals outlining rebate incentives and energy savings

- Collaborate with customers to design and implement energy-efficient lighting solutions

- Manage rebate applications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions

- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

- Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and Con Edison representatives

- Stay up-to-date on Con Edison's rebate programs, energy efficiency technologies, and industry trends

 

 

*Requirements:*

 

 

- 2+ years of sales experience in energy efficiency, lighting, or a related field

- Strong understanding of energy-efficient lighting technologies (LED, etc.)

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license (occasional site visits required)

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

 

 

*Preferred Qualifications:*

 

 

- Experience with Con Edison's rebate programs or similar utility incentives

- Knowledge of NYC energy efficiency regulations and codes

- Certifications: LEED AP, CEM, or CLCP

- Familiarity with CRM software

 

 

*Compensation:*

 

 

- Competitive base salary ($60,000 - $80,000)

- Commission-based incentive structure (uncapped earnings potential)
