Our global network of laboratories offers internationally standardized next generation molecular and flow cytometry panels to support drug development and accelerate drug approvals worldwide. We work with pharmaceutical partners and international regulatory agencies across the globe to develop companion diagnostics, which are necessary to gain approval of new drugs and treatments for cancer patients. Our harmonized ISO15189 accredited and CLIA/CAP clinical laboratories offer a test menu focused on biomarkers which are clinically actionable to support therapeutic decisions, measurable residual disease (MRD) testing, patient stratification, and trial enrollment, all designed to accelerate approvals of new oncology drugs and treatments.

We are looking to add a Senior / Director, Product Launch & Commercialization. The Senior/Director, Product Launch & Commercialization will be responsible for orchestrating the entire product launch lifecycle, from market strategy to post-launch optimization. This includes developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, ensuring operational readiness, and managing cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for defining success metrics, addressing potential risks, and continuously improving processes to ensure a successful launch and sustained market growth. Importantly, working with the team, you will be responsible for defining and refining the vision of why our platform is innovative and revolutionary in the global diagnostic arena.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution: Define and execute a winning go-to-market strategy for the nucleic acid extraction, cell enrichment instrument, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure product readiness and seamless execution of the launch plan. Drive cross-functional teams to execute on launch schedules and key deliverables.
- Risk Management & Problem Solving: Anticipate risks to the launch timeline or market acceptance and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on track. Lead efforts to mitigate any challenges that could delay the product launch or affect its market performance. These should address all areas of risk, including, but not limited to supply chain, manufacturing, shipping, technical support, and scaling all aspects of platform and reagent/cartridge availability, and potential recalls.
- Customer Engagement & Market Feedback: Engage with key customers, thought leaders, and stakeholders in the clinical and research fields to validate product-market fit and refine product positioning and messaging, based on KOL feedback. Drive early adopter programs to facilitate successful market penetration.
- Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiencies throughout the launch process, working closely with internal teams to streamline workflows, improve cost management, supply chains, and optimize resource allocation.
- Innovation & Change Management: Collaborate with internal teams to drive innovation in product application, marketing strategies, and commercialization techniques. Adapt to evolving market demands to ensure continued product success.
- Long-term Planning & Post-launch Optimization: Develop a roadmap for the product’s lifecycle beyond the initial launch. Work on strategies for continued market penetration, post-launch improvements, and customer support.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercialization team that can successfully deliver on the go-to-market strategy and grow the product’s presence in key markets.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or other related field of study and 8+ years of experience in product launch and commercialization within the medical device or life science industry.
- Proven track record of managing successful product launches, with a focus on cross-functional leadership and market execution. Launch is defined by involvement and preparation in platform design, validation, and marketing for at least one (1) year prior to commercial launch, followed by at least one (1) year of primary responsibility following commercialization.
- Strong ability to anticipate and solve problems, managing risks related to the product launch timeline and market challenges.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills with experience reporting to executive teams.
- Strategic mindset and hands-on approach, capable of driving both high-level strategy and operational execution.
