We are seeking a leader in the consumer products industry, providing private label solutions to Mass Market, Big Box, Grocery, Drug, and Specialty Retailers. While our name might not be familiar, our products are widely recognized across multiple categories. We specialize in supply chain management and sourcing for U.S. consumer product companies.

 

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales, Product, and Marketing to lead and implement an effective sales strategy across the U.S. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated leader with a strong background in sourcing, sales, marketing and product management, and a proven track record of driving growth in competitive markets.

 

Role Summary:

In this role, you will manage a team of seven, overseeing sales, product development, and marketing. You will collaborate closely with the VP and Senior Art Director from our Creative Team to align on project priorities and ensure successful execution. You will report to the SVP of Sales and partner with key internal departments such as Operations and Customer Service to drive seamless business operations.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for prospecting and new customer acquisition. You will generate business leads, create related sales documents and develop relationships that will meet targets and increase our market share. The successful candidate will be energetic, well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell. This role requires leadership and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment with company's strategy, and to lead communication with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leading Product Management:

  • Develop and maintain product strategies and roadmaps
  • Collaborate with product, creative, and engineering teams to develop seasonal, innovative products
  • Use quantitative metrics to measure product success
  • Drive the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and designers
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Leading Sales Team:

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive profitability through integrated supply chain solutions
  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans
  • Communicate the company's value proposition effectively
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including senior-level stakeholders
  • Use data to accurately forecast sales and set performance goals
  • Develop and promote sales objectives and reports, and assess company performance with senior management
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for new business.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in product and sales management
  • Experience in consumer products development (Seasonal products preferred)
  • Mass market sales experience (WM, Target, Costco, Home Depot preferred)
  • Experience managing both sales and marketing functions
  • 5+ years of experience in product development and shipping
  • Proven experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams with direct reports
  • Experience leading day-to-day product and design for large-scale consumer products
  • Knowledge across product management, engineering, and marketing
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, achieve strategic goals, and adapt to changing trends

Compensation & Benefits:
