SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

-Analyze target markets and developing sales leads and materials.
-Contacting potential customers to establish rapport and arrange meetings
-Educating customers on product features
-Completing sales reports and forecasting sales goals
-Generating Leads and turning them into opportunities for sales
-Delivering product presentation and demonstrations
-Negotiating and closing sales
-Develop and maintain positive business relationships
-Utilize CM for tracking and planning daily task as well as customer follow up

Essential Functions:
• Understand account processes, builder construction stages, and warranty boundaries to

help account reps resolve conflicts.

• Follow a sales call plan to insure maximum efficiency and penetration.

• Friendly and open communication with purchasing managers while leveraging Allied resources to obtain additional business

• Responsible for advance preparation before daily visits and weekly recaps completed on

a timely basis.

• Communicate with Account Services managers to prevent recurring process related field

issues

• Entertains customers in the normal course of business, to aid in negotiations and/or to

show appreciation of business, by hosting a lunch/dinner/events when appropriate.

• Maintains market awareness in competitor activities

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):


Preferred Education:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred

Required Experience

  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Construction industry experience required

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience as an Area Manager or Construction Manager with a homebuilder is

a plus

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Excellent multitasking ability
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment:
This position will be performed in an office environment.


Physical Demands:
There are little to no expected physical demands of this position.

Travel Required:
This position will involve travel throughout the DFW area and involve visitng customers at their office.
