Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory/Supply role based in Hartford, Connecticut. The role is within the healthcare industry and will involve maintaining adequate inventory levels, delivering supplies throughout the organization, and working effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring unexpired supplies are ready for delivery
• Respond to different departmental needs by rotating and par-leveling inventory accordingly
• Deliver supplies as required throughout the organization, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Work collaboratively within the department to provide quality service to hospital units
• Use strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts to meet patient needs
• Utilize organizational skills to maintain accurate records of customer credit applications
• Resolve customer inquiries by providing accurate and timely information
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
• Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth submission process for all customer applications.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and effectively
• Proficient in scheduling tasks and managing timelines to ensure efficient operations
• Familiarity with conductivity principles and their application in inventory management
• Demonstrated ability in collaborating with different teams and departments
• Experience in submission of reports and documentation related to inventory and supply
• Commitment to providing quality service to internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in cycle count procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
