Payroll and Benefits Administrator (Sacramento, CA)
LHH is teaming up with a commercial real estate firm in Sacramento, CA in search of an experienced HR Payroll/Benefits Administrator. This direct hire position offers an opportunity to enhance employee satisfaction and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative workplace while managing payroll and benefits processes.
As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will be essential in ensuring compliance in payroll, benefits, and reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, your role will focus on streamlining payroll and benefits operations while enhancing the employee experience. You will be responsible for various payroll and benefits administration tasks and fostering positive employee relations.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented HR professional with proven payroll and benefits administration experience, strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace, preferably with fluency in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing: Ensure precise payroll management while adhering to legal regulations and company policies.
Benefits Coordination: Oversee employee enrollment and conduct monthly reconciliations, offering assistance and support to team members.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Maintain alignment of all HR functions with legal standards, including accurate reporting and record maintenance.
Workplace Relations: Create an inclusive and supportive environment by addressing employee questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
Proven HR experience with a solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Experience in processing payroll is required. (Paylocity strongly preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with HR software and HRIS databases.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Reliable and personable, with the desire to learn and grow within the HR field.
Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Worksite Type: On-site in Sacramento, CA
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000/year, depending on experience
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. 1 hour lunch.
