Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a LIHTC Leasing Specialist role in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry based in Oakland, California. As a LIHTC Leasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our LIHTC portfolio by effectively managing leasing inquiries, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and adhering to LIHTC regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Showcase properties to prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with LIHTC regulations
• Address leasing inquiries promptly and provide accurate information via phone, email, and in-person visits
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC occupancy guidelines while processing lease applications and conducting income verifications
• Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant needs and maintain occupancy levels
• Regularly travel to properties within the LIHTC portfolio to conduct site visits, meet with property managers, and assess leasing opportunities
• Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants throughout the leasing process and during their tenancy
• Assist in the development and implementation of leasing strategies to achieve and maintain full occupancy
• Carry out administrative tasks related to leasing, including maintaining accurate records and preparing leasing reports
• Stay updated about LIHTC regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.• Proficiency in Excel
• Typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM
• In-depth knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) regulations
• Familiarity with Yardi Software and Yardi Property Management
• Experience in Residential Property Management
• Proficiency in Compliance reporting and Compliance Functions
• Understanding of Government compliance regulations
• Ability to Monitor Compliance effectively
• Background in Real Estate - Leasing
• Experience as a Leasing Consultant
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong understanding of the real estate industry, particularly in property and facilities management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with diverse clientele
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
