Contracts Coordinator

Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall process of contract administration, which includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients and partners
• Take responsibility for reaching out to providers such as Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, and Ancillary
• Ensure timely execution of agreements by submitting appropriate contract documents and credentialing applications to providers and following up accordingly
• Notify internal stakeholders about newly executed agreements
• Update and maintain the contract database and EZ-Cap
• Handle member LOAs requested by the Utilization Management department
• Communicate with internal departments to provide responses to provider inquiries related to referrals or claims
• Audit projects completed by the Contract Support team to ensure quality and accuracy
• Ensure all contracts are prepared, executed, and maintained accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Act as a liaison between the company and external parties to address any contract-related issues or concerns
• Maintain contract documentation and records including contract files, correspondence, and amendments
• Proactively manage contract renewals and terminations by monitoring contract expiration dates and renewal terms
• Assist with monitoring and evaluating contract performance, including tracking deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics
• Provide support and guidance to internal teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contract terms and resolution of disputes
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, market trends, and best practices in contract management and administration.• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in contract administration or related field
• Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with answering inbound calls in a professional manner
• Solid understanding of billing functions within the healthcare industry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer inquiries
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
• Ability to understand and interpret contract terms and conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry standards and regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
