Job Title: Contract Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Coordinator to lead and manage the contract administration process for our company. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of provider contracting, from initial outreach to final execution and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the contract administration process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Conduct outreach to providers, including Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, and Ancillary providers.
  • Submit relevant contract documents and credentialing applications to providers, and follow up to ensure timely execution of agreements.
  • Notify internal stakeholders of newly executed agreements.
  • Upload agreements to the contract database and EZ-Cap system.
  • Update the appropriate rosters.
  • Handle member LOAs requested by the Utilization Management department.
  • Communicate with internal departments to provide responses to provider inquiries regarding referrals or claims.
  • Audit the work of the Contract Support team to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure all contracts are properly prepared, executed, and maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and external parties to address any contract-related concerns or issues.
  • Maintain all contract documentation, including files, correspondence, and amendments.
  • Monitor contract expiration dates and renewal terms, managing contract renewals and terminations proactively.
  • Assist with monitoring and evaluating contract performance, tracking deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Offer support and guidance to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information and negotiate with external parties effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and contract management software (e.g., DocuSign).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.
