Robert half is currently seeking a PART TIME BOOKKEEPER to work 3 days a week onsite in the Middlesex County, NJ area. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. The role will require close attention to detail and an ability to handle complex numerical data.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on income and expenditure.

• Conduct regular ledger operations, ensuring that all ledger accounts are maintained properly.

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial documents.

• Handle the company's fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring they are updated and accurate.

• Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation, including bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and accrued expenses.

• Process journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly and annual closing activities.

• Ensure accuracy in general ledger processes.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

• Assist with other bookkeeping duties as required.

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Strong knowledge and experience in Bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in handling Month End Close activities
• Familiarity with General Ledger operations and management
