Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst in Houston, Texas, to contribute to our team's operations. This role focuses on supporting our workstation migration projects from Windows 10 2019 Office to Windows 11 Office 365 platform. The Desktop Support Analyst will be involved in a range of tasks including technical documentation, issue troubleshooting, and device configuration. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Support migrations of workstations within our environment from Windows 10 2019 Office to Windows 11 Office 365 platform
• Utilize Windows administrative components proficiently to support troubleshooting and development of implementation strategies
• Interpret and execute fundamental command line functions required for endpoint configuration attributes
• Troubleshoot software installation conflicts and software configuration issues
• Understand OS folder structure and locate user/system files within the operating system
• Familiarize with various OS components fundamental to Windows environment configuration and customization
• Manage On-premises ADUC, Active Roles, and Microsoft Entra group object, device object, and OU
• Understand principles of WAN, IP, VLAN, and Subnet in relation to corporate networking concepts
• Use RDP and other enterprise remote desktop viewers for remote user support
• Use MECM Software Center to deploy applications and software updates
• Image workstations using PXE boot methodology and install appropriate software drivers, bios updates, and bios configurations.• Proficiency in computer hardware, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, with the ability to manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions.
• Experience with backup technologies, including the ability to implement and manage backup solutions.
• Skills in configuration management, with the ability to oversee system settings and ensure consistent performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 and Windows 11, with the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot these operating systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, including the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot this software suite.
• Ability to provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
