We are in the process of expanding our team in Houston, Texas, with a Desktop Support Analyst position in the healthcare industry. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your primary function will be to respond to and resolve client support issues involving both hardware and software, manage installations and upgrades, and provide basic training in computer operation and management. Responsibilities:

• Addressing client support inquiries and determining the underlying issues

• Providing solutions for hardware and software problems

• Managing the installation and maintenance of hardware and computer peripherals

• Overseeing the installation and upgrading of operating systems and computer software

• Resolving networking and connectivity issues

• Recommending software or hardware upgrades when necessary

• Conducting basic training sessions on computer operation and management

• Utilizing Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, Windows 11, Office 365, Windows Azure

• Ensuring the completion of job reports and the timely ordering of supplies

• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies, necessary for managing virtual desktop interfaces and applications.
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies, especially in relation to hardware and software solutions.
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems, ensuring effective use and maintenance of these systems.
• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Mac Computers, providing support and resolutions to Mac-specific issues.
• Proficiency in various technologies, including Windows 11 and Azure.
• Experience with Active Directory, including managing user accounts and access controls.
• Technical understanding of Computer Hardware, able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues.
• Experience in Configuration Management, ensuring all systems are correctly configured and maintained.
• Proficiency in managing and executing Deployments, ensuring smooth rollout of new systems and updates.
• Experience in Deskside Support, providing on-site assistance to users as needed.
• Familiarity with Windows 11, able to troubleshoot and resolve issues specific to this operating system.
• Proficiency in using and supporting Office 365, providing assistance and training to users as needed.
• Knowledge of Azure, particularly in relation to cloud computing services.
